TRANSIT TECH STUDENTS RECEIVE AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN WORK EXPERIENCE WITH THE MTA!

Transit Technology High School has had a positive working relationship with the MTA for many years. Technology has been the number one priority at Transit Tech High School and many courses in computer repair, programming, electrical, and machine technology are offered. Many of the skills necessary for a successful career in technology can be learned working on an actual subway rail car in the technical laboratory. Skills such as machine repair, electrical trouble-shooting, and electrical installation are routinely practiced on the rail car!The following Transit Tech students have been given an opportunity to put their skills to test with MTA internships.

BEATING THE ODDS !

The Annenberg Institute for School Reform just published their findings on "Beating the Odds". Transit Tech is cited as one of thirteen NYC schools who "bring low-performing ninth-graders to timely graduation and college enrollment."
